Sandy Calderone Sculptural Artwear Jewelry & Accessories of original designs and fabrications are created by PA artist Sandy Calderone. Neckwear and rings are made using natural stones and silver, copper, brass and/or bronze. The stones dictate the design with their color, form and general aesthetic. Once the design is decided, each piece is torch fired one design element at a time, building the design. Often a kiln is used to fabricate components. Bracelets are of metal, leather or suede with or without stones. Earrings are crafted of handcut and textured metal, natural stones, leather or suede. Stones are sourced mainly from the USA and Jaipur, India as well as various other European countries. Sandy has her Associates Degree in Web Design from Harrisburg Area Community College and is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. Sandy has a Bachelor of Fine Art from Kuztown University where she focused on Drawing Studios and Black and White Photography.
